What should I expect?
Our light filled studio is fully equipped for your workout. Mats, props, water, tea and complimentary in-studio personal care products are provided. There is a complete change room with pigeon hole lockers and private change areas for your use. Please note there are no shower facilities at the studio.
No shoes are worn in any classes. We encourage the BYO use of grip style socks.
Please bring your own water bottle and towel as required.
How can I get there?
The studio is conveniently located at 126A Gladstone Ave in Northcote, just off St Georges Rd. We are easily reached via public transport or car.
Opposite the Foodworks, you can reach us by bike (St Georges Rd bike path), the 11 tram (Stop 30 Gladstone Av) or Croxton Train Station is just 800m away. On-street car parking is available on Gladstone Avenue and surrounding streets.
The class is full, the waitlist & cancellations
We are a boutique fitness studio with a limited number of clients in each class - this provides us with the ability to give corrections and feedback to help you get more out of your work out. Therefore we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot in your favourite class. If the class is full, we recommend going on the waitlist as it's very likely a spot will come up - please only elect to go on the waitlist if you can definitely attend class as you automatically be added to the class if a spot comes up. Ensure that your email notifications are switched on to receive notification of your spot. All classes have a 9 hr cancellation policy.
I'm new to this class
No experience is required to attend any of our classes, except Dynamic Reformer which requires attendance to a Reformer Align or Flow class prior.
Our classes are taught in a manner which makes them accessible to all levels of experience or fitness, with options given if you want to work at a more advanced or challenging level.
Please arrive 10 mins before class to meet your instructor, who will talk you through the equipment and any other class details.
Special conditions and pregnancy
While our classes can help build your strength, fitness and improve your mental and physical well being, our classes are all group fitness classes and do not provide individual rehabilitation requirements.
If you are pregnant or have pre-existing medical conditions, you must seek advice from a medical professional prior to attending class. Please advise your instructor of any special conditions before class begins.
I'm late to class
For your own safety and enjoyment of classes, we cannot allow clients to attend class after the warm-up has been completed. For yoga and yin classes, clients cannot join class once class has begun.
Please arrive 10 minutes early for your class. This will give you time to have a cup of tea, meet your friendly instructor and maximise your ASH experience.
